Let's look a little into the strategy here. When I try to determine the strategy I can see an average win of around 40 pips, and an average loss around 70 pips. The profitability is around 69% so this has the characteristics of a scalper. The R;R ratio is conducive to a scalper in nature. The profitability being a little low for a scalper means expect many DD periods in the future.
At time of writing the system has not had a losing month yet. The system has been trading on a live real account that is verified by MyFxbook since July 2013. The system trades four pairs live including, AUDNZD GBPUSD NZDJPY USDCAD. The system performs best on the cable.
It is worth noting the his past creations have had mixed reviews at best. Probably Alex's best creation has been the Shark EA. His most recent "Thor" EA was not a good system.
The backtests performed by the vendor are shown below and do look rather nice.
The backtest uploaded to MyFxbook for GBP/USD can be viewed here. The average monthly return for this looking at the backtest for this pair is around 2% with a DD around 28%. The monthly return may be too low for some to consider trading this. Also this is the best pair to trade with. Something to consider.
When I did a search for "Powerflow EA" on MyFxbook, the only published accounts are the vendor's. So either nobody has discovered this or they feel the risk is just too high to trade live.
